Mandatory Pre-Separation counseling is required by all separating (including those going from active duty to the Reserves or National Guard) and retiring military personnel. This briefing must be accomplished prior to your final 120 days of service. For maximum effect, the briefing should be one year prior to separating or two years prior to retirement. The briefing is scheduled by appointment only.

A veteran’s representative also provides in-depth information on veteran’s benefits. For maximum effect, please attend up to two years prior to separation or retirement.
